Remembrance Day is soon approaching and we now need to attach the poppies to the netting. Any help will be greatly appreciated. We will be meeting in the church on Monday 22nd September and Monday 6th October, from 10am - 12pm to attach the poppies.

Who is The Bereavement Journey for?
The Bereavement Journey is for anyone who has been bereaved at any time and in any way. It's for people who feel they may not have come to terms with their loss. The course is suitable for anyone with or without a Christian faith.
Each evening includes short films and some time in a small group.
Dates: The next Bereavement Journey will be at St Barnabas Church starting this coming Tuesday 23rd September.

Every Wednesday during term time, 9am - 10.15am.
Stay and Play will start with breakfast in the Honeycomb Cafe followed by a time for the children to play and a short story.

Community cafe - Come inside for a warm welcome and a hot drinks / refreshments. Available to anybody, it's particularly useful if you are are here and waiting for the community larder!
The Fare Share Darby Green Community Larder is helping to reduce food waste, and also help support people in times of hardship, but it can be used by anyone in the community. Registering and paying £5 gets you at least £20 worth of food. For more information just visit St. Barnabas on a Thursday and talk to the organisers by their van in the car park 1-2.30pm.

Adults and children meet together in the church to worship God and learn more about him. Typically this will be a more informal service and may involve fun activities such as a dramatised reading, a game or quiz. Some weeks you'll get a free breakfast too!
